Elegantly shaped Soapstone figures of Oriental fairies, the distinctive and beautiful light green vs dark burgundy chessmen, and the board with it’s sharply contrasting black vs white squares–all add to the richness and cultured appearance of this unique theme set! Even further, each white square has a oriental drawing design on it, with lively colors and flowing pictures reminiscent of the culture and art of the Orient.

The folding wood case, with the board set into it provides a great background to the soapstone pieces rising from the surface of 64 squares; a collector set, and with details that give it a specialty appearance, you are sure to love and use it often!
